Franklin County financial institution to open regional headquarters within the Harrisburg space – PennLive

A Franklin County bank will open a regional headquarters in the Harrisburg area.

F&M Trust will open the office in the Crums Mill Business Park at 4050 Crums Mill Road in Lower Paxton Township.

The office will support F&M Trust’s branch offices in Cumberland County and the Capital Region, and will house regional leadership as well as employees from the bank’s retail, commercial, and investment and trust services divisions and operational support areas.

“Bringing team members from three primary bank services – commercial, retail and investment and trust – into a single space, will allow us to efficiently deliver the best of our bank’s capabilities to each customer,” Tim Henry, president and CEO of F&M Trust said in a press release.

The office is undergoing minor renovations and is expected to open by December. The 6,687 square-foot office will house around 12 employees.

F&M Trust has leased the space, which is owned by the Triple Crown Corporation, for five years. Campbell Commercial Real Estate represented F&M Trust in the real estate transaction.

F&M Trust is based in Chambersburg and has 22 community offices in Franklin, Cumberland, Fulton and Huntingdon counties. The bank has eight locations in Cumberland County including locations in the Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg and Carlisle areas.

Last year, the 114-year-old company began trading on the Nasdaq. And also last year the bank also announced it was moving its corporate headquarters and operations center to a building situated in both Chambersburg and Guilford Township at 1500 Nitterhouse Drive, Chambersburg, a few miles a way from its current headquarters at 20 S. Main St. in downtown Chambersburg. The move will be part of a property swap with the CFDC, an entity owned by the Franklin County Area Development Corp. and the Chambersburg Area Development Corp. That move has not taken place yet.
