HARRISBURG – – AirBnb, the popular home rental website, claims to be reviewing Harrisburg property bookings during housewarming week amid mounting national concerns about ongoing civil unrest following the Capitol Uprising.
An AirBnb spokesman said the website will cancel reservations and ban renters who they acknowledge are "affiliated with a violent hate group or not otherwise allowed on our platform for violating certain community guidelines."
AirBnB works with local and state agencies, saying it "can bring information to the attention of local law enforcement if necessary".
