Harrisburg police officers are investigating a shooting that injured one person in the area of North Sixth and Division streets on Monday afternoon.
Harrisburg Sgt. Kyle Gautsch confirmed that one person was shot and said he believes the injuries were non-life-threatening. The person was taken to the hospital and their condition was not available Monday afternoon.
Gautsch said the shooting took place around 2:15 p.m. in a parking lot area in the 600 block of Division Street.
On the scene, Gautsch said a crime scene was initiated around bullet casings in the lot between the Beer King beer distributor and a gas station convenience store.
Harrisburg officers and state police were present at the scene, with Gautsch saying the state troopers were patrolling in the area and came to assist.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Harrisburg police.
