The top executive for Showplace Cabinetry in Harrisburg will retire, according to a Friday announcement from the company.
Showplace CEO Paul Sova is planning to retire at the end of December after 42 years in the industry.
Showplace President Bill Allen is set to replace Sova at the end of the year.
“It has been an honor and privilege to lead Showplace through times of tremendous growth, as well as challenging economic times that tested our team’s resolve,” Sova said in an emailed statement. “I am extremely proud of the Showplace team and what we have accomplished together. With the next group of leaders in place, the future is bright and I look forward to a smooth transition.”
Sova co-founded the company in 1999 and served first as director of manufacturing, before becoming vice president, then president and CEO.
