Harrisburg regulation agency expands into Philadelphia space – PennLive

A prominent Harrisburg law firm is expanding into the Philadelphia area.

Three attorneys in the Philadelphia area joined McNees Wallace & Nurick on Feb. 1. McNees Wallace & Nurick will open an office in the spring at 426 W. Lancaster Ave., Suite 100, Easttown Township, Chester County near Devon.

Joan Agran and Garth Hoyt have joined McNees as member attorneys in the firm’s Estate Planning practice group and McKinley “Sandy” C. McAdo joined McNees as of counsel attorney. All three attorneys were previously shareholder attorneys at another firm in Chester County.

All three attorneys specialize in providing advice relating to estate planning, tax planning, succession planning, and trust and estate administration. They represent families, individuals, business owners and executives.

“We are thrilled to welcome these three well-respected and well-known attorneys to the McNees family,” Brian Jackson, chair of McNees said in a press release. “They have decades of combined experience, deep knowledge of local estate planning and share our clients first philosophy.”

McNees has more than 130 attorneys with offices in the Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, State College and Scranton areas as well as offices in Ohio, Maryland and Washington D.C. The office in York opened in 2019.

The law firm also owns Capital Associates, a lobbying firm; Helix Strategies, a nonprofit consulting firm; Keystone Municipal Solutions, a company that provides municipalities with interim management and professional consulting services and Apollo Communications, a public relations agency. Apollo Communications opened on Jan. 11 and Keystone Municipal Solutions opened on Jan. 25.
