Harrisburg College District to shut all buildings Thursday; digital studying will proceed – PennLive

The Harrisburg School District will be closing all of its buildings on Thursday due to inclement weather.
But district operations, virtual learning, and remote technology support will remain open.
The Harrisburg School District said it will continue its regular virtual learning schedule during the winter weather season and has provided the contacted information for families that need assistance.
Parents can reach the school district by sending an email to covid19@hbgsd.us or call the hotline at 717-703-4019.To reach the Harrisburg Virtual Learning Academy, parents should send an email to hvla@hbgsd.us. District staff will respond within one to two hours. Calls and emails received after 4:30 p.m. will be returned on the next business day.And for technology support or login issues for a laptop or Chromebook, parents should call the district’s Helpdesk at 717-703-4171.
