The former president of the Fox Business Network has joined a Harrisburg communications and public relations firm.
Brian Jones has joined the Bravo Group as a senior adviser.
Jones, a five-time Emmy Award nominee, worked for Fox and News Corp. for 20 years. He was president of Fox Business Network for two years before leaving the company last year, according to the Associated Press. He helped to launch the network in 2007.
He is also the founder of New Paradigm Media and Communications, a strategic advisory firm centered on customer acquisition and retention. He also has served as a senior executive at McGraw Hill.
Jones will help clients align their primary goals with the needs of their customers and employees to bring value to their communities, and he will provide high-level counsel on digital audience engagement, acquisition and retention as tools that strengthen those core connections, the company said in a press release.
“Brian is one of the leading voices in broadcast journalism, and we are grateful that he has chosen to bring his talents to Bravo Group,” Topper Ray, Bravo’s president of communications said in a press release. “We first met while working together for former President George H.W. Bush, and Brian then went on to build Fox Business Channel into a powerhouse. He has a unique ability to read the pulse of the country and translate that into authentic and compelling storytelling. He will bring that skill set to Bravo Group, helping our clients more effectively reach their targeted audiences while communicating that there is purpose to their progress.”
The Bravo Group was founded in 1999 and has offices in the Harrisburg, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia areas.
