HARRISBURG – Farmers State Bank announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Brad Henshaw as President and Director, effective immediately.
Henshaw previously served as community president and commercial loan officer at Farmers State Bank.

Henshaw brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He began his banking career at Old National Bank, where he spent a year and a half as a credit screening specialist. Brad joined Farmers State Bank on April 1, 1995 as Senior Vice President, where he became an expert in corporate and commercial loans. With his drive and enthusiasm, he was elected mayor in 2018. Henshaw holds a BS in Business Administration from Murray State University.

Brad currently lives with his wife, Dr. Verlinda Henshaw and her two pups in Harrisburg. He has three children, Whitney (Kyle) Roberts, Brennan (Brenna) Street and Skylar (Noah) Vallette, and three grandchildren, Lynnox Street, Beckett Street and Noah Roberts, whom he adores. Henshaw is the chairman of Harrisburg Raleigh Airport, where he has served on the board and is a member of the Elks Club for more than 21 years. He has a commercial multiple instrument pilot's license and enjoys flying to his beach house in Port St. Joe in his spare time.
